The programme

Sleeping in a tent in the middle of the desert is a rare experience. And doing it in an area of the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, which is only accessible to certified guides like yours, is an exclusive experience that can only be enjoyed by Costa guests.
Set off in a 4x4 to conquer the dunes, over a series of ups and downs and varying moods in which even the sun plays a part: at sunset, you'll feel as if you are gliding over gold.
Like the explorers of days gone by, you will then hop on the back of a dromedary to reach the small base camp, where tents equipped with soft beds and all the necessary comforts are ready and waiting. Your guide will give you a few tips to help you to feel at ease. Trust them: they know everything there is to know about life in the desert.
As evening falls, the camp will be plunged into absolute silence, interrupted only by preparations for dinner: a typical Arab barbecue to be savored under the sky, by the light of lamps and lanterns.
But the adventure is far from over: the desert by day is a new world to explore, as you surf the dunes with your board and set out on a quest for the native animals that the reserve protects, such as the Arabian oryx and the Arabian sand gazelle.
