The programme

On Saint Kitts, a helicopter awaits you, with a pilot who is ready to tell you all about the sights you'll see in the mountainous hinterland and along the coast.
As you head to the island of Nevis, you'll fly over South Friar’s Bay. No spoilers: it's a natural spectacle that you've got to see with your own eyes. And that mountain? It's Nevis Peak, the volcano of Nevis, covered by tropical forests with its peak always in the clouds.
Here, you'll also see old colonial houses among the former sugar cane plantations, as well as Charlestown, the hometown of one of the founding fathers of the USA: Alexander Hamilton.
Then it's back up toward St. Kitts, to say hello to the majestic green volcano of Mount Liamuiga and Black Rocks, a formation of black rocks that has been battered by the waves: they are the remains of the lava flows from Mount Liamuiga itself.
As you head back south, you'll see Basseterre, the capital of Saint Kitts and Nevis: perhaps from up there you'll be able to make out the tower of St. George's Anglican Church, a historic site in the city.
