The programme

You'll be welcomed to the biggest island in the world at the village of Qaqortoq: you'll quickly leave its typical colorful houses behind you as you set sail toward the dazzling white of the ice.
Climb aboard the boat: the captain will take you among the icebergs that move slowly and majestically along the fjords, and the landscape all around you will leave you speechless.
Then, your “Arctic mission” will take you to the Qalerallit Sermia glacier, near the city of Narsaq: in front of this giant, you'll see the effects of climate change yourself, observing rocks that were once covered by tons of ice.
Before you return, get off the boat and take a walk on the ice cap - but in this delicate ecosystem, make sure you only leave your footprints behind you.

Wear hiking shoes and dress in plenty of layers, with warm clothes suited to the temperatures.
