The programme

The bus will head to the former residence of the distinguished Scottish artist Sir George Reid, just outside Aberdeen.
This is where you'll step inside the Gordon Highlanders museum, a famous British Army regiment, described by Sir Winston Churchill as the best in the world.
With your guide, you'll discover 200 years of history, learning about all the times that the soldiers distinguished themselves for their value, courage and discipline: ordinary men who did extraordinary things together, all hailing from Aberdeen and the North East of Scotland.
Here, there are old weapons, original maps and uniforms: there's even an area where children can try them on, from traditional kilts to more modern garb.
The surprises don't end here though, and as you return, you'll pass through the historic center of Aberdeen: from the window, you can photograph the Victorian buildings of Union Street, built with *silverstone from the local quarry, which was once the largest in Europe.
You'll also see the 17th-century market cross, with carvings of Stuart monarchs - and then, save your last few snaps for the Provost Skene's House, Aberdeen's oldest dwelling.
