The programme

First, your guide will take you to the neighborhood of Solsiden, with its post-industrial atmosphere, and then across the iconic old town bridge into the bustling Bakklandet district, brimming with life and colors, including those of the wooden houses built by sailors and fishermen.
Then you'll find yourself in front of the masterpiece of Gothic architecture that is the cathedral of Nidaros, the biggest church in all of Norway, built on the tomb of Saint Olaf.
Now, change your perspective as you discover the city from the Nidelva river: you'll be on board an “åfjordsbåt”, a traditional wooden boat that will transport you into the time of the Vikings!
As you slip along the Nidelva, you'll get to know other iconic places in the city, such as the Ravnkloa fish market, the port of Fosenkaia flanked by its Art Nouveau buildings, the picturesque Bryggerekka piers and the Kristiansten fortress, which keeps watch over Trondheim from the top of the hill on which it was built in the 17th century.
