In a nutshell

An experience of three days and two nights at the Sibuya Forest safari camp: sleep in your tent with luxury furnishings, in the thick bush on the banks of the Kariega River. In a 4x4 at dawn and dusk and in your free time, you will connect with the wild nature: in front of the fire burning bright in your tent, with no internet or electronic devices, time will follow Mother Nature's rhythm.

The programme

Day 1 – A warm welcome to the Sibuya Forest safari camp * The Sibuya Forest safari camp is built on the banks of the Kariega river, which flows lazily along wide bends through the plains. The eight tents with luxury furnishings and the warm colors of the local handmade fabrics are hidden among the thick bush, and connected by wooden walkways to protect the riverside environment. * Enjoy a warm welcome to the camp with a lunch and afternoon tea and then set off for your first safari at sunset with the local rangers: got your camera with you?

Day 2 – Discovering the private game reserve and its inhabitants * The Sibuya private game reserve is a patchwork of different environments, from the bush to the immerse plains where the biggest herbivores graze: the perfect place for the encounter of a lifetime with the big 5 of African animals, but also with antelopes, zebras and giraffes. At dawn when the savanna awakes, and at sunset when the sky is ablaze with red, it is easier to spot them. So climb into your 4x4 and keep your eyes wide open: can you follow the tracks of the animals? * In your free time soak up the relaxing atmosphere at the camp, with views over the river and a host of activities.

Day 3 - A dawn to be experienced at least once in a lifetime * After a hot cup of tea or coffee, set off in a 4x4 on your last safari at dawn, while the savanna slowly awakes. The scents, the peace and the connection with nature will accompany you back to the ship, which awaits you after your flight to Cape Town.

To best enjoy this experience, remember to bring along a hat, sunglasses, sun lotion, a light windproof jacket, camera and binoculars.
Wear appropriate sports shoes and clothing for the trail.
Bring your passport with two blank pages for each entry into South Africa: you'll need it to take part in this experience.
The experience can be canceled up to 90 days prior to the start date of the land excursion.
