The programme

We sit aboard a coach and embark on a pleasant panoramic tour of Dalmatia heading south, crossing the hinterland of which we can observe the fascinating, typically Mediterranean nature.
Our destination is the famous Krka National Park, a protected area of approximately 14 hectares of land which takes its name from the river that runs through it.
We stop to admire the most seductive heart of the park, where the flow of the river creates seven stupendous waterfalls, among which the most spectacular is Skradinski Buk, a descent of tumultuous water that pours over 17 natural travertine barriers for 45 metres.
We visit some water mills and the nearby ethnographic museum, which takes the form of a typical Dalmatian village with its perfectly restored stone houses.

Good to know

A long walk on uneven surfaces is involved, therefore the excursion is not recommended for guests who have walking difficulties.
It is recommended to wear comfortable walking or trekking shoes.
The route in the park involves climbing 194 steps.
The places available are limited, it is therefore recommended to book in advance.
