The programme

Set off on a shuttle boat from La Seyne-sur-Mer to the port of Toulon. After a few minutes on the water, the view will take you by surprise: on one side, you'll see the military arsenal with its imposing buildings, which seem to warn you not to get too close, while on the other is the Saint-Mandrier peninsula, promising you an extra-special exploration!

An expert guide will accompany you to the heart of the city. Squares such as Liberty and Opera look just like a film set: here, you'll find plenty of people trying to snap a glamorous selfie. Meanwhile, the cathedral,which is imposing yet discreet, recounts centuries of history.

When you arrive at the Provençal market, you'll notice straight away that everything here is authentic. The people selling their wares will look you in the eye and talk to you about Toulon with real passion. Oh, and if you're in the mood for something tasty, you're near Cours Lafayette, where you can find superb French biscuits.
