The programme

The excursion begins with a short ride from the ship to Morne Bruce, at 400 feet above sea level, for a panoramic view of the city of Roseau and its surroundings, a great photo opportunity. The next stop is the magnificent Dominica Botanical Gardens, which spans approximately 40 acres. Here you can see the island's national parrots, the Sisserou and Jacot, and discover some of the tallest and most exotic trees on the island.
Continuing, you will pass through the capital and the lush Springfield Valley, surrounded by lush vegetation, to arrive at the enchanting Emerald Pool, located in Morne Trois Piton National Park. After a fifteen-minute walk through the rainforest, you will come across a spectacular 50-foot waterfall that feeds the natural pool, from which it takes its name.
The excursion continues through the Layou Valley to the west coast of the island, where you can relax on one of the most beautiful beaches in Dominica: Mero Beach. Here, on the black volcanic sand, you can enjoy the sun and take a dip in the crystal clear Caribbean sea.
