The programme

Your adventure begins in Reykjavík, with a comfortable bus journey to Gullfoss. Along the way, you'll cross Hellisheiði, a landscape of black lava, smoking fumaroles and geothermal forces that never stand still. It's like feeling the earth breathe and regenerate, while nature releases all of its energy!

The journey continues through the villages of Hveragerði, Selfoss and Flúðir before arriving at the Sleipnir truck, a gigantic vehicle that will take you to Langjökull, the second largest glacier in Iceland. Among all that snow and ice, you'll feel as if you've just set foot on an alien planet. Your driver? An expert guide who will stop off at remote places that will leave you speechless.

After the glacier tour, head down to see Gullfoss, Iceland's most famous waterfall - it sure doesn't do things in half measures! The water falls into a deep gorge with such impressive force that it creates a powerful spectacle. Here, the earth isn't afraid to show off her wildest side.

Then it's back on the bus towards Geysir, where Strokkur, the geyser that never stays still, erupts every few minutes. We'll stop nearby for lunch, but don't worry - we'll stay well away from the hot geyser area!

Last stop: Þingvellir, the National Park and UNESCO World Heritage site, where you'll literally walk between two continents. This is the only place in the world where the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, which separates the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates, is above sea level.
