The programme

With this tour, you can go home and say: I paddled across the fjord! Dress comfortably and get ready for a little exercise - this is an adventure for real sporty types.

We'll set off from the port of Stavanger by bus, and after a short journey, we'll arrive at the kayak center, where we will be welcomed by an instructor who will give us a short introductory course, showing us how to use the kayaks and the SUPs (if you've never seen one, it's a bit like a surfboard that you have to stand on and paddle using a paddle...easy in theory, right?).

After choosing your “means of transport” and getting kitted up, we're off! Accompanied by expert guides, we will navigate across the wonderful Frafjord, with its breathtaking views and perfectly clean waters.

After plenty of sport, it's time to warm up with a hot drink, with views directly over the fjord, before returning on the bus which will take you back to the ship. A little tip for the return journey: there'll be a strategic stop to snap a few photos of the Gloppedalsure, the most impressive landslide in Norway.
