No experience is more thrilling than travelling on the Grand Pacific Drive, one of the most spectacular roads in Australia. Just one hour south of Sydney, the Grand Pacific Drive winds its way along amazing scenery, beaches and breath-taking views.

The programme

Depart the wharf, head south to Royal National Park which is the second oldest national park in the world, offering spectacular scenery from sub tropical rainforests and sandstone heathlands, to dramatic coastal cliffs and unspoilt ocean beaches. A short buch walk is made at Bungoona lookout to see the sweeping views of the Port Hacking River.
Continue through Royal National Park to Bald Hill where you will enjoy an amazing photo stopBald Hill is one of Australia's most well known and most popular lookouts. Not only are the views excellent, the area is also internationally known as a major hang gliding point and also home to the famous Sea Cliff Bridge which we travel over.
Continue south to Wollongong where you will have 2 course lunch main and dessert ,plus a glass of wine/local beer or soft drink at a local restaurant in Wollongong .
After lunch we continue on the Grand Pacific Drive to the quaint seaside township of Kiama, famous for its Blowhole.When the seas are heaving and the wind blows from the south-east, the Kiama blowhole can shoot water 60 m into the air, making it one of the highest in the world. The region's indigenous people, the Wadi Wadi, call it Khanterintee, which means 'mysterious noise'.
Spend some time enjoying the Blowhole and Kiama before returning to Sydney back along the Grand Pacific Drive.

We recommend that you book early because only a limited number of places are available.
When the ship is at anchor in Sydney, the walk from where the tenders will drop you off in the Opera House area to the starting point of your Sydney experience takes around 20 minutes.
