To obtain the boarding form, each guest over the age of 18 must personally complete the online check-in and satisfy all criteria in the self-certification form regarding medical conditions. Online check-in will open 72 hours before departure on MyCosta.
To access online check-in, simply enter MyCosta 72 hours before departure by entering your name, last name and reservation number.
You will find a convenient summary of the services you have chosen for your cruise in the "Basket" section. From there you can choose whether to confirm them, replace them or delete them. Once decided, you can go ahead with the booking. Remember: you have up to 3 days before departure to change your mind at no additional cost. 3 days before departure, each booked service will be charged to the on-board account.
Once you have purchased your cruise, by accessing MyCosta, you can look up and book the tours available for each stop.
If you book your cruise at the All-Inclusive or Deluxe rates, you will enjoy this unmissable opportunity: the more you book, the more you save! Book at least one excursion prior to departure and you’ll be entitled to a discount on all the subsequent excursions booked before departure or on board. To receive the discount code and then enjoy the special Premium Voucher , simply provide us with an email address and/or mobile phone number before the end of the cruise. There are several ways: enter your email address and/or mobile phone number in MyCosta (MyCruise section), register on the site or at the on-board Totems or subscribe to the Costa Club.
The data required to receive the Premium Voucher cannot be provided after the end of the cruise. To receive a special discount, simply state the code received when booking your next cruise. Remember, the Premium Voucher is valid for one year from the date of disembarkation of your last cruise.
You must know the full name and date of birth of all the guests travelling with you. Booking online is simple: once you have chosen your cruise, you simply follow the booking process that tells you step by step what to do and select the method of payment (credit card or bank transfer).
All cabins are furnished in a modern style and offer all kinds of comforts. In each one you will find: air conditioning with thermostat, interactive flat-screen satellite TV, hairdryer, safe, minibar and 24-hour Room Service (extra charge depending on cabin choice during purchase), WiFi connection (extra charge), soap and liquid soap for the shower, linen (sheets and towels) provided throughout your stay and changed regularly, with a Steward service always available for any requirements. The cabin and bathroom will be cleaned and tidied every morning.

No, drinks are not included in the price. Drinking water is available on board at the buffet during opening hours. All drinks (cocktails, coffee, soft drinks) can be purchased with the Costa Card at the ship’s bars and restaurants. Special Drinks Packages are also available in advance when making a booking or on board. A booking at the new All-Inclusive rate will also include one of our special Drinks Packages.
To buy or customise your cruise online you must always enter an email address.
Completing online check-in enables you to download the boarding form required for boarding and the cruise ticket. It is also necessary so that you can fill in the medical self-certification form.
Costa offers different rates to suit your needs: All-Inclusive and Deluxe rate that already include many privileges in the price, such as Drinks Packages, excursion discounts and other benefits. Children under 18 years old must travel with their own passport. As of 26 June 2012, children may no longer be included in their parents' passports.
For all cruises that require a valid ID card to leave the country - children under 18 years may travel with their own passport or identity card (please note that for children under 14 years with Italian nationality, if the names of their parents/guardians are not included in their document, a birth certificate proving parentage will also be required). If the child is not travelling with both parents or is accompanied by guardians or any persons mentioned in the document, please check with the police or relevant authorities to find out what is required for minors to travel abroad.
For children under 15 years, please check with the relevant authorities if they can use just their birth certificate with photo, validated for travel abroad by the police or other authorities. The acceptance of this document by the local authorities depends on regulations in the countries visited by the ship during the route (for example in Egypt, Morocco, Gibraltar, Iceland, the certificate is not valid).

Yes, to ensure people with disabilities have a wonderful cruise, all information regarding their specific needs must be provided at the time of booking. An accompanying person and own wheelchair are required: there are a limited number of wheelchairs on board our ships for emergencies and which are only approved for use on board. All our ships have a number of dedicated, fully-equipped cabins with no architectural barriers, priority embarkation and disembarkation and a dedicated lift for emergencies.
There is a time limit within which you can customise your cruise (up to 3 days before the date of departure of the ship). This time limit is indicated by the system once you have entered your information. If the deadline has expired, you can book (CostaTours!) excursions, drinks packages or other products and services on board. We suggest you do this on the first day of the cruise to avoid availability problems.
The 10% voucher is a discount valid for bookings made within 1 year of the end of the trip during which it was issued. The voucher is granted to customers who have taken or are due to take a cruise in 2019 on an All-Inclusive or Deluxe fare basis.
It can be used to buy a future cruise, excluding World Tours and related routes. It can only be used for new bookings made on an individual basis (excluding group bookings) and cannot be implemented retroactively. Only one discount may be used per cabin and per cruise. It is only valid for adults and applicable on balcony cabins (All-Inclusive rate) and Suites (Deluxe rate). On Costa Smeralda it is also applies to cabins with Terrace overlooking the sea.

To receive and then benefit from the 10% discount voucher, you must provide Costa cruises with your email address and/or your mobile number before the end of the cruise via the various channels made available by the company, for example by filling in the appropriate section in MyCosta or signing up to the Costa Club during the cruise. You will not be able to provide the data required to receive the 10% discount voucher after the end of the cruise.
From 7 January 2019, the Japanese government will charge an International Tourist Tax of 1,000 JPY (approx. USD 9.00 - subject to the exchange rate), which will be paid on board during the cruise.

The Costa Card is already activated on delivery and will automatically charge your purchases to the cabin account. However, within 48 hours of boarding you must register your personal credit card (Visa, Mastercard and American Express) or your debit card (with the exception of ships in Asia) to ensure that costs charged to the card are covered. We do not accept prepaid cards. Alternatively, you can pay a cash deposit of €150/dollars per person (it may be necessary to supplement this sum later if the expenses incurred exceed the deposit). The Costa Card may be temporarily disabled in the first 48 hours if the costs exceed 200 euros/dollars (if not covered by a cash deposit or a registered credit/debit card).
Guests should be aware that over-the-counter medications are not available for purchase on board. Medication is only available on prescription following a medical examination. We recommend that guests bring all their usual medications with them. Guests can contact the Contact Centre with specific questions about their trip.
At the end of your cruise booking, please select the type of table at which you would like to dine (with the number of guests), and the service hours and the restaurant (if you choose a Classic Cabin, you cannot choose your dinner service times).
Children over 3 years of age who are already toilet-trained (do not require nappies) are welcome to take part in Miniclub activities during the day. Parents who want a free evening while cruising can drop off their children at the Miniclub, which provides a group babysitting service from 11:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. if booked a day in advance.
No, the activities are free. The programmes are packed with activities for children over 3 years of age who are already toilet-trained (do not require nappies) and young people up to 17 years old. Costa holidays are fun for everyone and there is a club for all ages.
Celebrating a birthday, a wedding anniversary or honeymoon aboard the ship is a truly unique opportunity. You can buy special packages with cakes and other items directly on board, or by logging on to MyCosta, in the "Customise" ->"Celebrations and Surprises" section. On the Costa Diadema, you can also book areas where you can celebrate with friends or family in a more private setting.
You cannot bring food or drink on board that were purchased on land. If they are local products bought during a port stop, you can leave them with Costa Security staff and collect them at the end of the cruise.
For safety reasons, no electrical appliances can be brought on board, with the exception of battery chargers (for mobile phones, video cameras, cameras, PCs and MP3 players) and electric razors. A hairdryer is available in every cabin and on board ship, and an ironing, laundry and dry cleaning service is available for an extra charge.
No marriage ceremonies can be conducted on Costa ships, neither civil nor religious.

Before that date, all services and excursions will be visible and amendable. 3 days before departure, the basket will be cleared and all the services placed in it will no longer be bookable before departure. Remember to confirm the products you placed in the basket as soon as possible as many services are subject to restrictions on numbers.
